BOO!

What a Spooktacular day it was yesterday! Busy, busy, busy...trying to get things done a day before Halloween. I received a Halloween apron from one of the swaps I participated in but I wanted to make one of my very own. I found the perfect fabrics for my apron and as an added bonus, I found a fabulous $1.00 find at Target...

Groovy Waves

Today was Day 3 of an insane, torturous, heart pumping work-out! I decided to join my future sis-in-law, Adriana, to work-out using the P90X as our Personal Trainer...let me tell you, it kicked my butt! My body is so sore that every movement I make is painful! I forgot how good it feels after exercising...it gives me more energy...and with that said, here's the fabric I used to make a new style apron...

Tea Time

My brothers future mother-in-law is celebrating a birthday this month. Irene is such a hardworking lady and is always sending us delicious food with no reason behind it other than she's thinking of us. She's so sweet. I thought of making her a birthday apron and asked Adriana (her daughter) about her moms favorite colors...Pastels it is. I went fabric shopping on Friday and found the perfect fabric...it reminded me of a Tea House...

Spider Witch

I participated in a Fall Apron Swap hosted by Sue at Country Pleasures and had the pleasure to be paired up with Marcel over at Aunt Pitty Pats. If you read my Jack-O-Lantern post, that was the apron I made for Marcel. By the way, she loved it and the goodies that came with it! I have to admit, I was nervous sewing and sending out the apron being that it was my first swap that I was participating in. So I was relieved when I read Marcel's email...

Rainy Day

At the beginning of this week it was raining cats and dogs...it was starting to feel like fall but now we're heading to summer temperatures once again! That's Southern California weather for you...Well, being that I don't enjoy driving in the rain, I had to resort to looking through my fabric stash and see what I could come up with. It was perfect weather for sewing. Aaaahhhh, the kids at school, a fresh cup of coffee, my second BFF aka my sewing machine (coffee is my #1, but I'm sure you knew that already!) and fabric ready to be transformed into an apron.
